Overview

Two Oaks will be opening in August 2014 and will be home to 410 upperclassmen residents.  The building features one wing of suite style rooms and one wing of apartment style rooms.  The suite side is home to the GPS: Growth and Purpose for Sophomores program.  The main entrance and floors are monitored by card access.

Facilities/Amenities

Two Oaks Suites rooms measure 16' x16' and are suite style.  Rooms are furnished with 2 twin beds (height adjustable), 2 dressers,2 wardrobes, 2 desks, and 2 chairs.  Internet and cable hook-ups are available in each room as well. Individual heating and air units are in each room and are controlled by the residents. Every room has tile floors.  

Two Oaks Apartments features four and five bedroom apartments with a kitchen area and bathroom.  The kitchen has a full size stove and refrigerator, microwave, and table and chairs.  Each bedroom is fully furnished with a bed, wardrobe, desk, and dresser.  The living room area has 1 couch, 2 arm chairs, coffee table, and TV stand.  The flooring is tile throughout the apartment.

Laundry services are available on the basement level.  All utilities, cable service, and internet service are included in the cost for Two Oaks.  Students who live in Two Oaks Apartments are required to have the 5 meal plan and students living in Two Oaks Suites are required to have the 8 meal plan.

Staff

Two Oaks Hall residents are supported by 12 residents, with 2 RA per floor .  Each RA has gone through extensive training in order to be a resource to our residents.  RA’s create social and educational opportunities right here in the complex through programming and community building efforts.  

The RA’s are supervised by one full-time, live-in professional staff member, known as the Residence Director.  The RD is trained in crisis management, acts as a resource to the residents of the complex, and oversees the administrative aspects of the complex such as maintenance and discipline.  The RD maintains regular hours in their office, located near the front desk.  The RD also lives in an apartment within the complex.  

The front desk will be open during visitation hours.
