History/Overview
The Hillside apartments are Belmont's newest apartment style campus housing option. Hillside Phase I opened in Fall 1998, and Phase II opened in Fall 2002. Any student with over 30 credit hours or two completed semesters of college is eligible to live in The Hillside. 
Facilities/Amenities
The Hillside has 28 four-bedroom/two-bathroom units and 160 two person, two-bedroom/two-bathroom units. All apartments are fully furnished with the following items: sofa, chair, coffee table, and bookshelf in the living room; double or single bed, dresser, desk, and chair in each bedroom. All apartments also have the following amenities: dishwasher, microwave, full-size refrigerator, washer, and dryer. In addition, each bedroom has an individual phone number, voicemail, internet hook-ups, and cable provided. The living room also has cable provided. Bedroom phones are not provided, but a living room phone is.
All utilities, cable service, internet service, and local phone and voicemail service and included in the cost. The only additional cost to a student is his/her personal long distance phone service. Students in The Hillside are not required to purchase a meal plan, but have the option to do so.
Staff
The Hillside is served by a staff of 12 Resident Assistants and 2 Residence Directors who also live in the complex. The front desk in the clubhouse is open from 10am – 10pm Monday - Saturday to assist with any resident needs.
