Hail Hall is the smallest residence hall and houses approximately 77 residents. This three-story hall is home to freshmen men and women. Hail is known for its family-like atmosphere and its constantly occupied lobby. Hail Hall Student ID cards provide residents with access into the building. Other attractions to Hail residents on the first floor are a lobby with a television, where many residents find it enjoyable to spend time. Beside the lobby is a front desk operation, where opposite sex visitors check in and out, and residents checkout games, vacuums, etc., or obtain assistance.

The rooms in Hail are set up for the occupancy of two residents. Each room is equipped with a sink, cable hook-up and two internet hook-ups. The residents share a community bathroom, which are located on each floor. Laundry facilities are located on the first floor of Hail. Coins are not needed for residents to use the laundry facilities. A one-time fee assessed to the resident each year pays for her use of the washers and dryers. A kitchen, equipped with a stove, microwave, cabinets and a community sink is located in the laundry room area. Vending machines are also housed in this area.

Hail Hall has three Resident Assistants, or RAs. One RA lives on each floor. They provide peer guidance, community building activities, floor programs, and to serve as a resource for her residents. RAs report to the Resident Director of the Hall. The RD is a live-in employee who oversees the administrative details of the building, including maintenance issues and discipline, supervises the RAs, and serves as a resource for residents and RA's. The RD's office is off the main lobby and his or her apartment is on the second floor.
