• Belmont is ranked 5th in the Regional Universities South category in 2018 edition of "America's Best Colleges" by U.S. News and World Report

• More than 80 clubs and organizations are active on Belmont’s campus, including academic clubs, honor societies, professional fraternities, special interest and Christian organizations, student government, publications, social fraternities and sororities, music and drama groups, and debate and forensics teams.

• The Belmont Bruins compete in NCAA Division I in men’s and women’s basketball, tennis, cross country, track, soccer, golf, men’s baseball, and women’s softball and volleyball. We also have an extensive intramural sports program.

• Our faculty consists of more than 230 full-time professors. The student-to-teacher ratio is 13:1. Fifty percent of Belmont classes enroll less than 20 students.

• Belmont University surrounds the Belmont Mansion, a national historic home that serves the university as a functioning museum.

• Belmont is the second largest private university and the largest Christian university in Tennessee.​
