Baccalaureate Student Reflection and Celebration Service at 2:00pm. -Curb Event Center

Baccalaureate: 'A Service of Ordination to Daily Work' is a part of the Spring Commencement celebratory events.

Baccalaureate Service will be held in the Curb Event Center on Friday, May 3, 2019 at 2:00pm. This is a unique opportunity for faculty, staff, our graduating students, and their guests to gather together to begin our Commencement weekend activities. Caps and gowns are the appropriate attire for the Baccalaureate ceremony. Parking for guests attending this event is located in the Curb Event, and Johnson Center garages. Please contact the Office of Spiritual Development, with questions about Baccalaureate. Tickets are not required for Baccalaureate.

University Reception at 3:00pm-Beaman Student Lobby and Gabhart Student Center
All graduates, family, guests, faculty, and staff are invited to attend the commencement reception. The reception is sponsored by the Office of Alumni Relations. The commencement reception provides an opportunity for you and your family to meet and mingle with faculty, administrators, and fellow graduates. Join us to celebrate graduation with those who have shared parts of the same journey. This is not a ticketed event.


Saturday, May 4, 2019- Curb Event Center

Morning Graduation Ceremony- 9:30am.

Afternoon Graduation Ceremony- 2:30pm.

Belmont University will award degrees to candidates on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 9:30am. and 2:30pm. (according to the graduate's respective college)  in the Curb Event Center. Doors to the Curb Event Center will open at approximately 8:30am for the morning ceremony and 1:30pm for the afternoon ceremony.

Tickets are required for admission into the graduation ceremony. Candidates may request up to 6 tickets for family and guests to attend their respective graduation ceremony. Seating is general admission with the exception of areas specifically designated for graduating students, faculty, and guests requiring special seating accomodations due to physical disabilities. (Please see the 'Prospective Graduate Checklist' section of this website for more information about making a special service request).

Photography is generally permitted during commencement; however, individuals taking photographs should remain clear of the aisles as well as the auditorium floor throughout the ceremony.

Grad IMAGES is a professional commencement service available to capture graduates’ pictures during the ceremony. Please view the Grad IMAGES website or contact the photography servicer directly to receive information about their optional packages.
