Belmont University and the School of Physical Therapy are committed to the successful outcomes of each of the physical therapy students and graduates. The process for measuring success is determined in a number of different methods. Program evaluation looks at graduation rates, licensure examination pass rates on the National Physical Therapy Examination as provided by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy, and employment placement.
Student Graduation Rates (2011 - 2013)
Of the 99 students who started the program in the graduating classes of 2011 to 2013, 98 graduated with an DPT degree. This demonstrates a 99% graduation rate.
FSBPT-NPTE Pass Rate (2011 – 2013)
The total number of graduates who passed the National Physical Therapy Examination from 2011-2013 was 97 out of 97, for a pass rate of 100%.
Employment Placement (2011 - 2013)
The percentage of graduates who secured professional full-time employment, enrolled in graduate school, or enlisted in military service within six months after graduation is 97% in 2013, 97% in 2012, and 100% in 2011.
