Dr. Hinton has worked as a clinician, manager, and educator during her career as a physical therapist. Her clinical experience has been in a variety of settings, including acute care, outpatient, industrial rehabilitation, and currently, in home health. She has extensive experience in managing rehabilitation services in the outpatient and home health settings.
Her previous academic experience includes teaching at Volunteer State Community College and serving as the Academic Coordinator of Clinical Education for Tennessee State University s physical therapy program. Dr. Hinton has served in many capacities within the American Physical Therapy Association at the local, state, and national levels. She is currently serving on the APTA Ethics and Judicial Committee and has recently served two terms as the President of the Tennessee Physical Therapy Association.
