Lonnie Yandell, Ph.D.

Dr. Lonnie Yandell received his Ph.D. in experimental psychology (with a secondary focus in cognition and development) in 1982 from Texas Tech University, and he joined Belmont's faculty in 1985. Dr. Yandell's teaching and research interests include Cognitive Psychology, Sensation and Perception, and Consciousness. He stays busy working with students on their research and his students have won regional and national awards for their research. He is the proud father of two daughters and has a wonderful granddaughter. When he is not busy with his work at Belmont, he enjoys camping and woodworking.
