Dr. Peter Giordano
Dr. Peter Giordano joined the Psychology Department in 1989 and currently serves as department chair. He received his BA, MA, and PhD (Clinical Psychology) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He teaches Abnormal Psychology, Theories of Personality, Psychometrics, and Introduction to Psychological Science. His favorite activity around the department is to help students with individual or group research projects. He is past National President of Psi Chi, has served as the Editor of the Methods and Techniques section of the journal Teaching of Psychology, and is a past recipient of the CASE Tennessee Professor of the Year. He is the husband of Jan and the father of Nicholas and Michael. His favorite hobby is hiking and camping out West or in the North Carolina mountains. Vita
