Loans

Federal Stafford Subsidized and Unsubsidized loans
The Stafford Loan Program is available to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at least half time at Belmont. Depending on a student's financial need, he or she may be awarded a subsidized loan, unsubsidized loan, or a combination of the two.

girl Interest on the Federal Stafford Subsidized Loan does not begin to accrue until six months after the student ceases to be enrolled at least half time in college. The Stafford Unsubsidized Loan accrues while the student is attending classes for credit. Repayment on both loans begins six months after the student ceases to be enrolled. Students with unsubsidized loans have the option to pay the interest or let it accrue.
