Andrew Davis
Dr. Andrew Davis comes to Belmont from Villanova University where he recently completed his Ph.D. His dissertation covered ideas of reason in Kant and Hegel. He earned his B.A. at the Pennsylvania State University, where he wrote an honors thesis on Hermeneutics and poetry. He also studied at Philipps-Universität in Marburg and fluently reads and speaks German. He specializes in 18th, 19th and 20th century German philosophy. He is very interested in the relationship between ancient and modern philosophy.
