Delivering Medication Therapy Management Services is an innovative and interactive training program that explores the pharmacist’s role in providing MTM services to patients. This activity teaches pharmacists the essential skills necessary to become a successful MTM practitioner. The certificate training program will enhance pharmacists’ clinical expertise in evaluating complicated medication regimens, identifying medication-related problems, and making recommendations to patients, caregivers, and health care professionals. The certificate training program is conducted in three parts – self-study activity and pre-seminar exercise; live interactive seminar; post-seminar exercise. A Certificate of Achievement will be awarded to participants who successfully complete all program components, including an evaluation form.

The American Pharmacists Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.

BUCOP will email each registrant a message containing an online program code and instructions for completing the self-study process on the APhA online system.

Due to policies and fees dictated by APhA, no refund will be given once the participant has redeemed the online program code. If the participant has redeemed the online program code but fails to complete either the self-study or the live component of the program, the participant will not receive credit for participation in the program, will not receive a certificate of completion, and will be required to register for a later program, pay an additional registration fee, and retake the program at a later date. Once the participant has redeemed the online program code, the participant shall be responsible for all activity thereafter. If a participant redeems a code more than once, the participant will be charged $125 for each additional code redeemed. If the participant has redeemed the online program code but fails to complete the final exam within 14 days of the live seminar, the participant will be charged a $25 fee per request to gain reentry into the APhA online system. Refunds less a $50 handling charge will be issued for written cancellation requests received by BUCOP no later than December 27, 2013. If a cancellation is received after December 27, 2013, OR if the online program code has already been redeemed, no refund will be issued.
