Minimum Admission Requirements


1) Candidates must complete a minimum of 64 credits of prerequisite coursework at a regionally accredited college or university, each course completed within ten years prior to application.

2) Candidates must achieve a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale, and have no prerequisite courses with a grade less than a “C” (2.0). Candidates may use credit for prerequisites achieved by Advanced Placement (AP) examination as long as it meets university standards.

3) Candidates must submit results of the Pharmacy College Admissions Test (PCAT).  There is no minimum score required for admissions consideration, but test results are considered as a strong indicator of the candidate's readiness for doctoral level work in pharmacy.

4) International applicants whose native language is not English must demonstrate proficiency in the English language by submitting an official copy of your Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores. Candidates for the class will be considered on their own merits, but will compete for a seat in the class.
