Virginia Walczak joined Belmont during the fall of 2013. She is a graduate of the University of Delaware, where she studied communication and history. She later obtained a master's degree in healthcare management with additional coursework in pharmacology, disease pathology, and health information management from Keller Graduate School of Management in Chicago.
Before coming to Belmont, Ms. Walczak spent five years at DeVry University where her responsibilities culminated in maintaining accreditation and ensuring regulatory compliance through internal training and auditing. Prior to that, she taught English at China University of Geosciences in Wuhan, China.
As the continuing education coordinator for the college of pharmacy, Virginia Walczak is responsible for all aspects of developing and organizing accredited continuing pharmacy education programs for alumni, faculty, and affiliate faculty of Belmont as well as other pharmacists in the Nashville community.
