Dr. Adam Pace received his Pharm.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy in 2007. While pursuing his degree, Dr. Pace was involved in Phi Delta Chi Pharmacy Fraternity and was a member of St. Anthony Hall. He served as the founding president of the Ole Miss student chapter of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy. He also graduated from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, earning the Master of Divinity degree in 2013. He currents serves as a bivocational pastor at Harvest Fields Baptist Church in Pegram, TN.
Dr. Pace has spent his career in community pharmacy. He began working as a staff pharmacist for Walgreens after graduation. He served as Pharmacy Manager with Walgreens immediately before coming to Belmont. While serving there he was very active in Medication Therapy Management services. He is a certified immunizer and has completed the University of Buffalo HIV Pharmacotherapy CE Program. He is trained to perform many CLIA-waived health tests.
He now serves as Pharmacy Manager of the Health Services Pharmacy located in McWhorter Hall. As Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice, he serves as a preceptor for Belmont students on rotation in the pharmacy. He teaches electives Advanced Nonsterile Compounding and Developing a Pharmacy Service. He provides guest lectures in several courses on community pharmacy topics. He precepts students on a global missions experience in Honduras with the Honduras Baptist Medical Dental Mission.
