Dr. Leela Kodali joined the Belmont faculty during the fall of 2013. She is originally from Nashville, TN and received her BS from Middle Tennessee State University. She received her PharmD from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN. Following graduation, Dr. Kodali completed an ASHP-Accredited PGY1 Primary Care Residency at the Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center in Richmond, VA. After completing her residency, she came back to Nashville and worked as Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Anticoagulation at St Thomas West Hospital.
As Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice, Dr. Kodali teaches in the Pharmaceutical Care series and Therapeutics Case Studies. Dr. Kodali’s practice site is at Matthew Walker Comprehensive Health Center with a focus in the diabetes and anticoagulation clinic. This practice site serves as an Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience site for student pharmacists in their fourth year of the pharmacy curriculum.
