Jenny Garland

Dr. Garland received her Pharm.D. from the Belmont University College of Pharmacy in 2016. While pursuing her degree, Dr. Garland was involved in Phi Delta Chi and the Student National Pharmaceutical Association (SNPhA).

She also graduated from Middle Tennessee State University, earning a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction in 2006.  Prior to pursuing her Pharm.D., Dr. Garland was a high school educator for nine years, where she taught a variety of science courses and volunteered for the choral competition group, theater club, cross country team, and marching band.

As a Clinical Scientist Fellow in Drug Information, she currently precepts Belmont students on rotation in the Drug Information Center. In the classroom, she assists Dr. Ness in teaching Biomedical Literature and Introduction to Drug Information and Informatics. She will be completing the Aegis portion of the fellowship beginning in the summer of 2018.
