Parking
After reviewing satellite lot and shuttle service usage, the following modifications are being made to better serve our students, faculty and staff with their parking needs.
Beginning Wednesday, September 14, 2005:
- The Greer Stadium satellite lot will be discontinued.
- A security officer will be stationed at the 12th Avenue lot #1 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Shuttle stops will be added to both the 12th Avenue lot #2 and the Bruin Hills entrance gate as well as the south and west sides of campus.
- The shuttle will now run on a 10 minute rotation schedule.
- A car pooling database has been developed and placed on BIC. To access the car pool database: Log on to BIC, enter your password and click on 'Car Pool Zip Code Database' located under 'My Campus and Academic Department Messages.'
Belmont has also partnered with the Metro Transit Authority (MTA) to be the first middle Tennessee institution to provide free bus service to both students and university employees.

A new benefit to Belmont University Students and Employees
Ride the MTA bus to and from Belmont and we'll pick up the tab. All students, faculty and staff can just get on the bus and swipe your Belmont ID card. Save on gas, sit back and enjoy the ride. For MTA schedules, see The Nashville MTA site and choose 'schedules'
- Satellite Lots:
- 12th Avenue Lot #1 (Near Wedgewood)
- 12th Avenue Lot #2 (Former Electrical Contractors Building)
Shuttle Schedule:
Shuttles will run approximately every 10 minutes beginning at 7:00 AM and ending at 7:00 PM. (A security escort is available by calling 460-6617)
