Gas Cards to Support OT Students Traveling to Fieldwork

Todd Burr from the Shell Station at 21st Avenue South and Acklen Avenue is providing gas cards to the OTD and OTW students to help defray the costs of getting to and from occupational therapy fieldwork sites. Belmont University’s doctor of occupational therapy (OTD) students are traveling to clinical sites across multiple counties in Tennessee and the OTW students come from many states away. The OTD and OTW students who travel the furthest for clinical have been prioritized with the gas cards. These gas cards have been a real asset to the students as gas prices have risen. As a Belmont alumni (1991), Mr. Burr is fully aware of the needs of students. He is a strong advocate for Belmont University. Stop by his service station to buy gas or sign up for a maintenance program. His ongoing support is very much appreciated.
