Tamara Garvey-Lemmonds (OTR/L) graduated from Belmont University with a MSOT degree in 2001.  She later earned her EdD in Leadership from Trevecca Nazarene University.  Tamara currently serves in the role of Assistant Professor for the School of Occupational Therapy.  Her research interests include IPE, development of  intercultural competence for healthcare providers, and several topics related to the pediatric population.  When not at Belmont, Tamara works as an occupational therapist at a private outpatient clinic in Franklin, TN.  There she primarily serves children with autism spectrum disorders, developmental delays, or disorders of sensory integration. Outside of work, Tamara’s primary passions are her two children and serving others through missions.
