Sponsored Programs Information Network or SPIN is a Web-based database that provides listings for federal, nonfederal, and international funding opportunities from more than 6,000 sources. All members of the Belmont community may search the SPIN database for the latest programs for training, research, course development, travel and fellowships.
GENIUS (Global Expertise Network for Industry, University, and Scholars): A global network and database for scholarly expertise, GENIUS hosts faculty profiles from hundreds of member institutions to create a searchable database for partnerships and for customized funding alerts.
SMARTS (Spin matching and Research Transmittal Service): An electronic matching and notification system, SMARTS uses your profile to identify the programs closely matching your interests. The Office of Sponsored Programs will work with you on the content of your profile until alerts properly capture your interests. Matching is conducted on a daily basis and programs are automatically e-mailed to you.
