Text Alert System
Sign up to receive a text message notification in the event of an on-campus emergency or unscheduled university closing due to, for instance, severe weather. Registration is quick and easy.
There are two ways to sign up:
1) Text Messaging
Text the word Belmont (not case-sensitive) to the number 27538. In reply, you will receive a welcome message which indicates a successful sign-up.
2) Online
Visit my.belmont.edu and sign in to your account. You will find the Instant Alert link under the "My Campus and Academic Department Messages" subheading. Click on the link provided, and you will be directed to the instant alert Web site. After submitting your information, you will receive a text message which indicates a successful sign-up.
