ADVISING INFORMATION
Academic Advising for Fall 2008 is Monday, April 7- Wednesday, April 16. Be sure to sign up for an advising appointment during this time. Please make sure that you bring your completed registration form and draw slip with you to your appointment. Priority registration begins Monday, April 21, 2008.
The last day of class for Spring semester is Tuesday, April 29, 2008. Academic Preparation Day will be Wednesday, April 30, 2008.
Final examinations are May 1-6, 2008.
IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBERSpring classes begin Wednesday, January 9, 2008.
Classes will not be held on Monday, January 21, 2008 in observation of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Classes resume Tuesday, January 22, 2008.
Easter Break is scheduled for Thursday, March 20- Friday, March 21.
Spring Break is Monday, March 24- Friday, March 28. Classes resume Monday, March 31, 2008.
The Celebration of Nursing Excellence will be Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at 4:00pm. Attendance is encouraged for all nursing students.
The Senior Breakfast will be Wednesday, April 30 at 8:00am. More details will posted as they become available.
GRADUATION
Graduation rehearsal is Friday, May 9 at 10:00AM. The Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 10:00AM in the Curb Event Center. For more information, please refer to the Registrar's website.
The School of Nursing Pinning Ceremony and Reception will be Friday, May 9. The reception will begin at 4:30pm and the Pinning ceremony will begin at 6:00pm. More details will be posted in the upcoming weeks.
Information regarding the NCLEX review for students graduating in May and other information for graduating seniors will be posted as it becomes available.
