Accelerated Second Degree BSN
The Accelerated BSN program is designed to be completed in 16 months of full-time study. Applicants are accepted to begin the program only during the fall semester. Students will need to have completed all required nursing prerequisite courses prior to beginning the program. The School of Nursing strongly recommends that students do not work while enrolled in the Accelerated BSN program or work only as much as necessary given the demanding curriculum of the program.
The School of Nursing has rolling admissions for transfer applicants. Applications are reviewed throughout the year. Applications are not reviewed by the admissions committee until all application materials have been received by the Office of Admissions. Applicants should expect to receive a decision letter in 4-6 weeks once all application materials have been received. If you have questions about the application process, please contact the Office of Admissions or the School of Nursing.
Applicants are encouraged to apply earlier than the university deadlines due to the rolling admissions process.
