Jill has worked in pediatric oncology as well as maternal nursing, general and acute pediatric care, perinatal education, nursing education, and perinatal grief counseling. She has also worked in staff development and as adjunct faculty at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and Bethel University. With an overwhelming passion for children, she is part of the organization, End Slavery Tennessee, whose entire purpose was to make a difference for the victims of human trafficking in middle Tennessee.

Jill teaches pediatrics, women’s health, Intro to Nursing, and online courses. Currently on the Awards Committee. Member of Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society, Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) and the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
Jill’s goal is to establish and grow high quality pediatric simulations and clinicals Belmont University.
Jill and her husband, Richard, have 7 children (4 - two-legged, and 3- four-legged), as well as 3 grandchildren. In their spare time, they work as professional photographers. They also love to cook, travel, play with their "grandangels".
