Admissions Checklist

Tell the World!
Use the #accepted2belmont hashtag on the back of the acceptance folder that was mailed to you, and don't forget to join your official Belmont class group on Facebook.

Register for Be Belmont Day
This is an event for freshman applicants and their families on April 7, 2018. Registration opens for Be Belmont Day on January 18, 2018.

Pay your enrollment deposit
Submit your $250 non-refundable enrollment deposit online at by December 1, 2017 for spring 2018 students and May 1, 2018 for fall 2018.

When paying your deposit, the University ID will be your BUID number (found in the acceptance letter that was mailed to you). The PIN will be the last six digits of your BUID. You will pay your enrollment deposit online with a credit card or checking account.

After you have logged in, please remember to select the eDeposits tab at the top of the page and then select from the drop down menu your student classification (freshman/transfer deposit or international enrollment deposit). You may then make your enrollment deposit payment.

This step with initiate additional communication regarding matters such as housing, Orientation, course registration and instructions for creating your MyBelmont student portal account.

Apply for Financial Aid
Submit the FAFSA by December 1 for fall 2018 applicants and by November 1 for spring 2018.  Click here for information on merit scholarships.

Submit Your Housing Application
Housing information will be sent to you within one week after your enrollment deposit is processed. Click here for more information on campus housing.

Schedule Your Towering Traditions New Student Orientation Session
Registration opens the first week of March for fall term and the first week of November for spring term for students who have paid their enrollment deposit. Click here for more information about summer and spring Orientation.

Follow the Pre-Orientation Checklist
Visit the Orientation website to download a comprehensive list of the steps you need to complete prior to Orientation.

Attend Towering Traditions New Student Orientation
During Towering Traditions New Student Orientation, you'll discuss your academic plan, register for your first semester of classes and learn about the values, commitments and mission that shape the Belmont community.

Your parents/guardians are invited to attend to learn pertinent information about your next steps into higher education.

Towering Traditions New Student Orientation is offered in June for all deposited freshman and transfer students for the fall term, and spring Orientation is held in January for all deposited students entering in the spring.

Submit Required Student Health Services Information
Belmont requires all students submit a completed Medical History Form, Immunization Record and verification of health insurance by the end of your Towering Traditions New Student Orientation session.

Submit Transcripts
Request that your final high school and/or college transcripts be sent to Belmont's Office of Admissions.
