Patricia RobertsPatricia Roberts earned her BM in music from Texas Christian University in 1988 where she studied voice with Dr. J. Arden Hopkin and was a Nordan Fine Arts Scholarship Recipient. She received a MM from Baylor University in 1991 where her primary interests were vocal performance and opera. While at Baylor, she studied voice with Dr. John Van Cura and was a graduate assistant to choral music director, Dr. Hugh Sanders. For the pastten summers she has studied voice with Dr. Sharon Mabry at Austin Peay University.

Patricia has taught at Belmont University since 1996 and Lipscomb University since 1998 as an adjunct professor of voice, teaching studio voice and vocal seminar to undergraduates. She enjoys performing as a soloist, having done so for a number of academic and civic organizations and churches across the country. Despite her love of performing, she derives the most satisfaction from teaching. Helping students develop their talents while they prepare for life after music school is what she finds most rewarding. Patricia, her husband, Brent, and their dog, Tule, reside in Franklin.
