Margie Yankeelov is an Adjunct Instructor of Music in the Belmont University School of Music. She teaches classes in Ear Training.
Mrs. Yankeelov holds a BM in Music Education and Oboe Performance from Belmont University, an MM in Oboe Performance from the College-Conservatory of Music at University of Cincinnati, and is a doctoral candidate in Music Education at Boston University. Her research interests lie at the intersection of music psychology and aural skills acquisition. An active oboist, Margie has done extensive freelancing in both Nashville and Cincinnati, playing with groups ranging from Orchestra Nashville and the Nashville Symphony, to artists such Wynonna Judd, Jewel, Donna Summer, Trey Anastasio, Sutton Foster, and Brooke Waggoner. She currently teaches oboe, music theory and music education courses in the School of Music at Belmont University.
