Adam Nitti

Based out of Nashville, Tennessee, Adam Nitti has been establishing his own voice amongst his contemporaries as both a solo bass artist and composer for well over a decade. He has so far released four solo recordings on his own Renaissance Man label which have drawn international acclaim, but he has also been notably involved as a sideman and contributor on a variety of projects across multiple genres. Adam has toured with the Dave Weckl Band, Steven Curtis Chapman, Jeff Coffin Mu’tet, Susan Tedeschi, Lincoln Brewster, David Phelps, the Justice League (featuring T Lavitz, Jimmy Herring, and Richie Hayward), and Angie Aparo, and has also performed or recorded with a diverse collection of artists including Scott Henderson, Peter Erskine, Al Green, Mike Stern, Heather Headley, Chris Tomlin, Casting Crowns, Kirk Covington, Wayne Krantz, the London Symphony Orchestra, and many others. Adam has so far appeared on three Grammy-winning albums and one Grammy nominated album to date.

In addition to being a performer and composer, Adam is also Chief Learning Officer for MusicDojo.com, an interactive online music school. He is also a bass clinician for Aguilar Amplifiers, Ibanez Basses, and D'Addario Strings, and is a staff instructor for both Victor Wooten's bass & nature camps and Gerald Veasley’s Bass Boot Camps.

Adam is also a columnist for Bass Player magazine and Bass Musician Magazine, is an adjunct faculty member of Belmont University's School of Music and the Atlanta Institute of Music, and has made hundreds of appearances at such events as Euro Bass Day, Bass Player Live!, Bass Day U.K., Bassquake, and the Bozeman Bass Bash. He is currently working on a web-based instructional video series for bass guitar.

“Adam Nitti is one of the amazing players who is at the forefront of the bass movement. I always look forward to hearing his CDs just to see what he will do next.”

-Victor Wooten

“Adam's bass lines are supremely interesting, his soloing is masterful and his pocket is deep, but Adam seems to command a higher level of musicianship and that translates throughout every member of the band...”

-Damian Erskine - Bass Musician Magazine
