Mr. Jeff Lisenby has been an adjunct instructor at the Belmont University School of Music since 1994. He is currently teaching class composition.
He received both his Master of Arts (Music Specialty: Composition and Arranging) and Bachelor of Music (Accordion Performance) from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. Mr. Lisenby was conductor and/or keyboardist for: Broadway's RING OF FIRE; Tennessee Repertory Theatre's GREASE, BIG RIVER, A CHORUS LINE, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, 1776; Tennessee Performing Arts Center's touring shows of: MAMMA MIA, CHICAGO, ANNIE GET YOUR GUN, CITY OF ANGELS; and for shows at Opryland USA. He has toured with: the Mills Brothers, Boots Randolph, Brenda Lee, and accompanied: Luciano Pavarotti, Lee Greenwood, Donna Summer, Tricia Yearwood, Three-Dog Night, and David Cassidy. He was twice bronze-medalist in international accordion championships. Lisenby is also active in the Nashville recording scene, and is the music director for several of Celebrity and Norwegian Cruise Lines’ ships.
