Linda Harmon is an Adjunct Instructor of Music at Belmont University. A member of the faculty since 1987, she teaches both private and class piano. Mrs. Harmon earned a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Belmont University and a Master of Music in Piano Performance from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, KY. She was on the piano faculty for a year at Western Kentucky before coming to Belmont.
Since 1996, Mrs. Harmon has performed with the chamber group, Trillium Trio. Their performances have included Recital Hall, a local PBS production, Live at Studio C, a local NPR program, the MTNA National Convention, Cumberland County Playhouse, the Tennessee Governor's Mansion, and others. Her professional activities also include accompanying, arranging, and adjudicating.
Mrs. Harmon has been a church pianist/music associate in the Nashville area and has worked with preschool and children’s choirs for over 25 years. Since 1987 she has been Vice President of The Music Library, a company offering one of the world’s largest listings of choral and instrumental music for resale by churches and schools.
Mrs. Harmon is a member of Pi Kappa Lambda National Honor Society and Sigma Alpha Iota. She is the faculty advisor for Epsilon Lambda chapter of SAI at Belmont.
