Julie Forester

Julie ForesterJulie Forester originally from Houston, TX has been in Nashville working in the music industry for nearly 8 years now. She currently has a writing deal at Of Sound Mind Music Group, where she co-wrote pop icon Tiffany’s first country single “Feel The Music” released to radio last summer. Recently she has co-written songs on Aaron Kelly (American Idol Season 9) and Colm Kirwan (produced by Victoria Shaw) upcoming album releases. She has 2 EPs currently for sale and released her most recent project “Julie Forester plus 6 LIVE” last year; produced by Bill Warner & recorded LIVE on ANALOG tape with NO AUTO-TUNE and no vocal comping. Julie has opened for Phil Vassar, Josh Gracin, Lee Brice, The Invite and sung back-up for country artists David Bradley and pop icon Tiffany. She toured Ireland and Scotland with Joey & Rory; toured Europe and the UK playing Eva Cassidy and was on the West End in the Olivier Award winning production of “Ragtime” in London. Julie closed 2011 staring in Nashville’s own Street Theatre Company production of “Ragtime” as the role of Mother to high praise from Broadwayworld.com and The Tennessean. Julie received her Master of Arts from New York University in Music and Performing Arts Professions with a Music Theater emphasis.
