Bryan Clark is an Adjunct Instructor of Music (Composition) in the School of Music. He received his Bachelor of Music (Jazz Guitar/Music Business) from University of Southern California, his Master of Music (Composition/Theory) from the University of Texas at Austin and his Doctor of Musical Arts (Jazz Guitar Performance/Music Business) from the University of Southern California.
Dr. Clark has taught private applied courses in guitar, music theory, composition and songwriting. Known as both a composer and guitarist, Dr. Clark has composed original music for film (i.e. Mushka Water, 2004 Best Independent Film Winner - Hatch Festival) and for various ensemble combinations, including, jazz quintet, jazz ensemble, solo piano, magnetic tape and voice, and solo guitar. Dr. Clark has also been featured in Guitar Player Magazine. He has released various solo CD projects (Rainfeather Records) and has been featured at numerous festivals and/or showcases including: Los Angeles Jazz Festival, Fullerton Jazz Festival, Dallas Classic Guitar Society, SEAMUS Electro acoustic Music Festival and NSAI Performance Showcase.
Dr. Clark's bluegrass band Honeywagon, is currently signed to CMH records. He endorses D'Addario Strings and Bourgeois Guitars.
