Music Theory
The Theory Major provides a strong foundation in the analysis and composition of a variety of musical styles. This major emphasizes critical thinking and writing skills, and is excellent preparation for graduate study in music theory, music history, conducting, and other music-related disciplines. Music Theory majors are sometimes double majors in composition or performance.
