Undergraduate Majors

Belmont's School of Music is a comprehensive program with nine majors under the Bachelor of Music (Church Music, Commercial Music, Composition, Music Education, Music with an Outside Minor, Musical Theatre, Performance, Piano Pedagogy, Theory); the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre; the Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Music; and a Music Minor.

Graduate Degree Programs

The Master of Music Degree is a professional music degree designed for students seeking advanced study in music in the areas of Church Music, Commercial Music, Composition, Music Education, Pedagogy (keyboard, instrumental, vocal), or Performance (keyboard, instrumental, vocal). Students applying to this program typically will have completed undergraduate degrees in music. The professional goals of students in this program include doctoral study in music, careers in performance, careers in commercial music, elementary and secondary school music teaching, private or college teaching and church music positions.
