Christmas at Belmont will air Nationwide on PBS on Wednesday, December 23, 2009. Please check your local listings for times.
General Information:
Christmas at Belmont is a University tradition celebrating the Holiday Season. The performance features various School of Music student ensembles and groups that highlight the musical diversity of our students.
This year the concert will be taped for national broadcast on National Public Television. Seating for the television taping is limited. Please be aware that tickets “sell out” quickly. Parents of Belmont University School of Music Majors and the parents of non- Music Major University students performing in the concert are given priority in requesting tickets. Nashville Children’s Choir parents and Belmont students, faculty and staff will be given priority for any unfilled seats at the taping and for the afternoon dress rehearsal. Please see below for ticket release dates and information on requesting tickets.
As seating and tickets for Christmas at Belmont are limited for the 2009 television taping, please mark your calendar for the President’s Concert on April 17, 2010 in Massey Concert Hall. While non-seasonal, this major concert is very similar to Christmas at Belmont and features a variety of student ensembles and groups. Tickets for this event are $15 each and based on availability, there is no limit on the number of tickets that can be purchased. All of the funds raised by tickets sales go directly to College of Visual and Performing Arts Scholarships. In December 2010, Christmas at Belmont will return to the campus of Belmont University and Massey Concert Hall. As in 2008, three concerts will be performed allowing Belmont to offer four tickets per family and to the community.

Ticket Information for University Performers:
Tickets for parents of School of Music students and non- School of Music University students performing in the concert will be available Thursday, October 1st at 8:00 a.m. (CST). There is a limit of two tickets per family. Please use this early release period to ensure your family’s seats as the concert fills quickly. The performances are free, but each guest must have a ticket.

Ticket Information for Belmont Students (non School of Music or concert performers), Faculty and Staff and Nashville Children’s Choir Parents
Tickets for the Belmont community and Nashville Children’s Choir parents will be available Thursday, October 15th at 8:00 a.m. (CST). There is a limit of two tickets per family. Please use this early release period to ensure your family’s seats as the concert fills quickly. The performances are free, but each guest must have a ticket. Please return to this page on October 15th to request tickets.

Ticket Information for Alumni, Non- School of Music Belmont Parents and Community Members
Any remaining seats for the taping and dress rehearsal will become available on Monday, November 2nd at 8:00 a.m. (CST). The performances are free, but each guest must have a ticket. There is a limit of two tickets per family. Please return to this page on November 2nd to request tickets.
