Jennifer Wetzel currently works at Vanderbilt University, where she covers news and promotes research within areas of the university and medical center. She is the primary News and Communications liaison for the Peabody College of Education and Human Development, Vanderbilt Kennedy Center, Division of Trauma, Department of Emergency Medicine and Vanderbilt Regional Burn Center. She assists with media relations for the medical center and contributes to publications including The Reporter, Vanderbilt Medicine, Vanderbilt View and House Organ.
Before coming to Vanderbilt, Wetzel spend a decade in Belmont's Office of Communications. She served in media, communication, community relations and marketing roles, including assistant director of communications. She was never more proud of her alma mater than in 2008 when Belmont hosted the Town Hall Presidential Debate. (Pictured above)
