Dell and Apple Laptop Program for new students
The laptop program is available to new students, freshmen, transfers and new graduate students. Essentially, the program is a financing program where your laptop is charged to your Belmont student account. Support for the program is available through the manufacturer. The program starts in May and ends with delivery of the new laptop to participants on move-in day August 19th The cutoff for orders is the 3rd week in July.
The program includes a great laptop that you own and provides payment flexibility through your account at Belmont at no additional cost to you. The specifcations for each laptop are listed below. Neither system comes with Microsoft Office which can be purchased in the College booksfore for around $80. If you are interested please send in a completed agreement form by mail or to fax 615-460-5685 to the attention of Randall Reynolds by July 14th. Also, let me know by email or phone that you have faxed in the form so that I can be sure to include your request in the July order.
1. Dell D630 Lattitude Laptop ($1450 incl. tax)

2. Cost for this year is $1450 for the Dell or and $1510 for the Macbook 3. Laptops are given out on August 19th (move-in day for Fall Semester) 3. Includes 3 years depot support and accident protection. (no accidenet prot. on Mac)
4. Support for laptop is through Dell or Apple
5. Two equal payments charged to student's Belmont account Aug. 23rd , 2007 and Jan. 2th, 2008. Student and Parent are solely responsible for support. Limited Warranties are covered by manufacturer.
