What About Wireless Access?
Wireless access is available in all classrooms and student activity buildings including Beaman. Students who use Belmont's Bunch Library have wireless Internet access throughout the building... you may even check out a laptop to use while you are in the library to see how this works! You can also use your wireless laptop to access the Internet in the Beaman Student Center, Wheeler Humanities Building, Hitch Science, Massey , Physical Therapy and even the Quad.
Plans are being made to expand wireless to residential halls starting with Thrailkill in Fall 2006. We continue to invest in wireless technology for everyone. All you need to access the wireless is a wireless laptop or PDA that support WIFI (802.11b and 8012.11g) and an email account to logon to the wireless network. If you have questions about using wireless on campus please contact Randall Reynolds at 460-5471.
