So What Is BIC?

BIC is Belmont's one stop place for everything Belmont
intranet application. An intranet is similar to the internet(just a
fancy word), but it is only accessible by people directly
associated with Belmont University. Every user will choose a screen
name and password, select their academic preferences, and choose
interest areas for campus communications. Once connected, users
will able to access Belmont specific content, including their
personal accounts, as well as their favorite sites with a single
mouse click.
Single Login for Email, WebCT, and
Banner
BIC will allow a single login access for Belmont e-mail, Banner *, and WebCT. It will also contain targeted, non-e-mail messaging by class year and majors, access to our new calendaring system, convocation information and student phone numbers.
Besides offering all this great information, BIC is absolutely secure. Each new user will be verified against university records using Social Security Numbers and birth dates. Only people with valid records will be allowed to register screen names and passwords to gain access to BIC. Incoming students can create BIC accounts as soon as enrollment deposit payments have been processed. The account creation process takes a few minutes and begins here.
*Banner Web is Belmont's account manager. Students
use it to access their student accounts, make payments, check
grades and register for classes.
