ITS is responsible for supporting the IT needs of Belmont students, staff and faculty on a daily basis. ITS manages MyBelmont, BIC, BannerWeb, Email, Wireless, Campus network, Telephones, Voicemail, Cable TV and Computers; desktop support for all areas of the University. Organizational Structure of ITS:
ITS is comprised of three administrative departments reporting to Steve Lasley, Vice President of Finance and Operations.There are three Directors that manage each of the administrative units of ITS.
Jill Freeman- Administrative Technology (AT)
Randall Reynolds - Technology Services
Millicent Jolly - User Services
User Services supports the desktop computing environment on Belmont's campus. The department offers support for desktop applications, minor computer repair for university PCs, consulting services, and support for the computer labs. User Services is located in the Massey Business Center Computer Lab and has a hotline for questions and appointments for personal assistance.
Technology Services provides campus support for our technological infrastructure - Network, Resnet, MyBelmont, Email, Telephone, Voicemail, Long Distance, Cellular Phones, Web, Cable TV, Internet and Library Services. The Resnet Hotline number is 460-6214. ITS is located on the 3rd floor of Bunch Library and first floor of Fidelity Hall.
This department provides campus support for administrative applications and data support services. Applications include Banner, Blackboard, Argus reporting, etc. AT is located on the 3rd floor of Bunch Library.
