Headshot of Dr. Bill WilsonClergy and congregations are finding that boundary awareness and guidance is a significant challenge and opportunity. Boundary awareness involves sexual harassment and moral behavior, life balance, social media habits, family time, Sabbath-keeping, youth and child-care policies, and a host of other issues. Gaining clarity around these issues and creating a healthy culture around boundaries is essential if we are to accomplish the mission God has for us. We will talk about the importance of healthy boundaries and how to incorporate them into the full life of a faith community. Dr. Bill Wilson is the Director of the Center for Healthy Churches.

  • Building Relational Equity as a Disciple Maker – Dr. Tim Lovett
    11-05-2018 | 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM | Belmont Cool Springs Campus

Headshot of Dr. Tim LovettA lot of people talk about making disciples… few people are willing to offer the investment of time and energy it takes to pour one’s experience of faith into the life of another.  Dr. Tim Lovett insists on building “Relational Equity” as the core value of making disciples.  This workshop will guide participants into the practical steps needed to be fully invested as a disciple-maker.  Participants will learn how to structure a framework to be used in building relationships, becoming vulnerable, understanding gifts, abilities, and strengths, as well as teaching important fundamentals of the Christian faith.  Disciple making is a lifestyle to be adopted, not simply a workbook to be taught in a small group session.  Come and learn how to make genuine, passionate followers of Christ.  Dr. Tim Lovett is the Senior Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
