Admissions process

Students are nominated by Victoria University to participate in the exchange with Belmont University.

Students complete Belmont University's Exchange Application online and mail or fax to Belmont International Education Office.

Send or fax a copy of your Victoria University transcript with your application.

Students are eligible to study at Belmont for one semester.

Students must live on Belmont University's campus in order to meet Belmont/Victoria exchange agreement requirements. This includes living in a two person residence hall room and purchasing a meal ticket. Information about housing and meal plans can be found here.  An Exchange Student Housing Application should be used to request housing.

Classes / Internships

Students must take a minum of 12 credit hours (4 classes) to meet immigration requirements and a maximum of 16 credit hours (5 classes).

In order to do an internship, students from Victoria University must

  • Have previously completed an internship in Australia
  • Have completed 64 semester hours

Internships are unpaid and carry a maximum of 3 semester hours course credit.

Exchange students may not work off campus without permission from immigration (see International Education Office).
