How long have you worked at Belmont University?  What attracted you to your job at Belmont? 

I have been at Belmont for 17 years.  I was attracted to the beautiful campus when I came to interview.  When I started working, I was in Wright Hall and I worked with a great bunch of students and Resident Directors.  I told Patricia Rickman (Custodial Services Manager then who retired several years ago) that I would stay here until I retired.


What is the campus community like for staff working at Belmont?

 I feel that there is good communications and a good positive environment on campus where an employee can advance up in their career.


What would you say to someone who is considering working at Belmont University?

Belmont is a good place to work.  It is like a family.  For example, after the May flood, everyone pitched in to help.  We have good benefits and vacations and a free education for an employee and their family.  It is good to take advantage of that.  Belmont has lots of diversity, and I appreciate the different people that I work with.  Belmont does a lot for its employees and I really enjoy working here.
