New Staff Orientation
All new staff will participate in New Staff Orientation.  Employees in Plant Operations and Campus Security will participate in departmental orientation within their first month of employment.  All office staff participate in a half day orientation, which is held on the third Friday of each month.  Click on the link above for details.

New Staff Workshops
All new full time office staff will participate in two half-day workshops within their first few months of employment.  They are based on Belmont's core competencies expected of all employees.

Multimedia Hall Training
Dr. Ernest Heard conducts training on the use of the Multimedia Hall in the Bunch Library on an ad hoc basis each semester. These dates are communicated via email to the Belmont community. To schedule an individual training session, send an email or call Dr. Heard at 460-6424.

Rape Aggression Defense System (offered by Campus Security)
The Rape Aggression Defense System is a program of realistic self-defense tactics and techniques for women that begins with awareness, prevention, risk reduction and risk avoidance, while progressing on to the basics of hands-on defense training. R.A.D. is not a Martial Arts program. Our courses are taught by nationally certified R.A.D. Instructors and provide each student with a workbook/reference manual.
