Working at Belmont University is an absolutely awesome experience.
Belmont has one of the most beautiful campuses in Middle Tennessee. It is a very peaceful and professional environment. The people who work here could truly make anyone feel welcome. They smile, speak to you and actually wait to find out how you are really doing.
When I agreed to help lead the New Century Journalism Program, I knew it was God's will for me be at this appointed place at this appointed time to serve His purpose. I received further confirmation on my first day on the job when my co-workers gave me a card and a candle. It was a small gesture that speaks volumes for the character and commitment of the Belmont Bunch.
The students are equally as kind. No this is not euphoria but it's definitely a worthwhile stop on my journey to eternity. For the record, I was not paid, prompted or persuaded to write these words.
