Mandy Hodge BA, PHR
Mandy is an HR Generalist and joined the Belmont Office of Human Resources in August 2007 with a HR background in the hospitality industry. She has worked in HR departments for the corporate offices at two large restaurant groups that have restaurants throughout the California area. One of the restaurant groups was a casual dining chain with over 30 restaurants. The other restaurant group was with a world renowned chef and his upscale restaurant concepts and establishments.
Upon relocating to Lake Tahoe in 2005, she worked in the HR departments at two resort clubs and worked to keep the golf courses, ski resorts, restaurants & other amenities for the club's owners and guests fully staffed, maintained and up to date. Mandy moved to Nashville in October 2006 and was a Staffing Coordinator at Dell Computers focused on hiring sales staff. Since joining Belmont she has helped with the coordination of the 2008 Presidential debate that Belmont hosted and presented on best practices at a vendor sponsored conference.
She graduated with a B.A. in Business Administration from Trinity Western University in Langley, B.C., Canada, just outside of Vancouver. She worked her way through college with summer internships at NASA and waitressing at a juicy BBQ ribs restaurant. After completing her degree she taught English as a second language to children in South Korea. When not teaching her school kids she was able to travel around Korea and to several other Asian countries including Japan, China & Thailand. Mandy received her Professional in Human Resources Certification in January 2007.
Outside of the HR offices of Belmont's Fidelity Hall she enjoys the Belmont gym, gardening, traveling, home improvement projects, and cooking with her husband, Kirk & playing with her little girl Janie.
