Donna Gwaltney Ph.D., SPHR
Donna has been in the Office of Human Resources since 2007 and brought with her almost two decades of HR experience. Prior to coming to Belmont she worked in the HR offices of a variety of industries which includes hospitality, non-profit, manufacturing, citrus processing, and the public sector. She joined Belmont as an adjunct faculty in 2005 and teaches an Employment Law elective in the College of Business Administration. She also taught Employment Law, Human Resource Management, and Organizational Management as an adjunct for over eight years at Palm Beach Atlantic University.
Donna holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management from Mid-America Nazarene University and a Master's degree in Human Resource Development and Administration from Barry University. She recently completed her doctoral studies for a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Eastern University. She has been certified since 1996 as a Senior Professional in Human Resources through the Society of Human Resource Management. Donna's primary functions are recruitment, policy and benefit questions, immigration processing, and serving as the Tuition Exchange Officer/Liaison.
Her personal interests include being an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan. She is also the proud co-owner with her husband, Darrell, of the unofficial School of Religion mascot, "Max".
