CALL FOR PAPERS
PHI ALPHA THETA REGIONAL CONFERENCE
February 23, 2013
The Xi-Alpha Chapter of Phi Alpha Theta invites you and your students to participate in the 2013 Phi Alpha Theta Regional Conference at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee on February 23rd, 2013. Our luncheon speaker for the conference is Dr. Richard Blackett, Andrew Jackson Professor of History at Vanderbilt University.
The program committee for the conference requests the submission of complete panels as well as individual papers. Topics for papers may come from a broad range of subjects including local, regional, and national U. S History as well European and World.
Abstracts and CV should be sent to the PAT Coordinator and received no later than January 16, 2013. Abstracts for papers should be approximately 200 words, typed, and single spaced.
The completed papers must be emailed to commentators by February 8th.
The Program Committee will announce selections and send out further information as soon as possible. We will also have a best paper contest in the categories of U.S History (any era) and World (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa).
Professors please let me know if you are interested in commenting and/or judging.
