David E. Curtis (Ph.D., University of Tennessee-Knoxville) is a Professor of English and Associate Dean for Faculty for the College of Arts & Sciences. Since coming to Belmont, Dr. Curtis has taught numerous undergraduate and graduate courses in Early American Literature, African American Literature, and Critical Theory, including many online classes. As a professor, Dr. Curtis is interested in the ways new technologies intersect with scholarship, critical theory, and pedagogical practice. He is the faculty advisor for the BU English blog.
